For many aging Florida seniors and veterans, the biggest challenge isn’t finding help — it’s getting there. Even with programs offering food, healthcare, and social activities, transportation remains a major barrier to connection and independence. That’s why I Love My Island is raising funds to launch our first-ever community transportation program — a service dedicated to helping homebound seniors and veterans reach essential appointments, groceries, and the people who care about them most. Together, we can keep our Islanders moving forward.
