Event Information
When is the My Island Cookout & Bluewater Event Drawing?
The event will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Festivities begin at 12:00 p.m., and the boat drawing will be held at 2:30 p.m.

Can I buy tickets on the day of the event?
Yes, tickets will be available at the event. However, we strongly recommend purchasing them in advance to avoid lines and ensure you can enjoy the cookout without delay.
Do I need my physical ticket to attend the Cookout?
Yes. A physical ticket is required for event entry and to receive your meal.
Are there separate tickets for the Cookout and the drawing?
No. Each ticket includes one (1) meal for each ticketed guest attending the event and one (1) entry into the Bluewater 2850 drawing.
How will I receive my tickets?
- If you purchase tickets at a show, by mail, or in person, you will receive them immediately.
- If you purchase tickets online, we will create your tickets at our office and mail the stubs to you.
How will the drawing be conducted?
The winning ticket will be hand-drawn from a bin.
Who do I contact if I don’t receive my tickets?

I’m not sure if I purchased tickets this year—can you check?
Absolutely. Call (321) 536-2227, and we will look up your name in our ticket database.
Do I have to be present to win?
No. If you are not present, we will notify you by phone immediately after the winning ticket is drawn. The drawing will also be livestreamed on Facebook.
Boat Information
Do you transport the boat if I do not live locally?
No. The winner is responsible for claiming the boat within 30 days and transporting it to its final destination.
Do I have to pay anything when I win?
I Love My Island, Inc. will pay up to $7,000 toward the federal taxes required by the IRS for your winnings. After those taxes are paid, you may take possession of the boat. You are responsible for registration, transportation, and any additional fees. You will also receive a W-9 as required for prize reporting.
How much is the boat worth?
The “worth” of the boat depends on what someone is willing to pay at a given time. We can discuss the value with the winner if needed.
